During this new Jazz&More session, we shall continue to explore the various styles that the rich world of jazz has to offer us today. Bearing in mind what history has taught us – a maxim that rings true: one style of jazz does not replace another – we shall be taking a journey through New Orleans.

A passionate admirer for over 20 years of the music of the King of Jazz, aka Mr Louis Armstrong, cornetist Raphaël D’Agostino – a well-known figure on the regional music scene – brings to this project all the energy of his past experiences (Big Noise, Le Sousa Schleb and En Fanfare). Surrounded by his talented collaborators – Schleb on the sousaphone and local drummer Alain Chafewehe from Liège – Cornet Blues will take us on a total, intimate and warm journey back to the golden age of jazz!
