NEPTUNE live at Cafe Winok

NEPTUNE, a music band for saxophone, two Prophet synthesizers, Moog synthesizer, Oberheim synthesizer and drums. Storytelling compositions inspired by science, mythology and and just pure fantasy, a sci-fi soundtrack approach but blending electronic textures and lots of improvisation with jazz roots. All original music freshly written. 

Compositions inspired by Carl Sagan's reflective prose on Pale Blue Dot, an unsung scientist from the golden arabic era (Ibn Al-Haytham year 1.000), but also on the character of Medusa, or a "The Neverending Story" book character, and more. Connecting both worlds, like the same name of the Band, Neptune, the mythological god and the eighth planet of our solar system.
