Anke Ludwig quintet

“Anke Ludwig (b. 2003) is a Belgian jazz singer and composer who studied at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. As a child, she discovered a love for the piano and all things musical at the age of four. After taking music theory and classical piano lessons at local academies, she eventually attended Kunsthumaniora Brussels, where she received her first vocal lessons. Under the guidance of Sarah Klenes and Lennert Baerts, Anke is developing her own repertoire, which blends singer-songwriter, jazz, and folk styles.

She is active in projects such as Blue Room and the Anke Ludwig Trio. For this occasion, she is joined by Bruno De Smet (Slagader, Sauce Control), Ceres Lauwers (Chimaera, Canens Quartet), Nanou Van De Sande (Nanou Van De Sande Quartet), and Simon Pas (Simon Pas Quintet, Aghogho).
