Over the years, bassist Félix Zurstrassen has established himself as a key figure on the Belgian jazz scene. Always fascinated by the art of the trio—and more particularly by groups led by pianists such as Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Danilo Pérez, Paul Bley, and Brad Mehldau—Félix is now focusing his artistic research on this iconic formation. He has joined forces with the talented Nicola Andrioli, a renowned Italian pianist with whom he shares a passion for melodious and harmonious jazz that is both accessible and sophisticated. Drummer Antoine Pierre, Zurstrassen's long-time partner, completes the line-up with his strikingly refined, inventive, and musically masterful drumming.
