As a key contributor to Miles Davis's legendary album "Kind of Blue," Evans spent much of his career performing in trios, redefining the genre with his unmistakable arrangements of standards and his stunning original compositions.

Joachim Caffonnette, a distinguished pianist and composer on the European jazz circuit with three albums to his name as a bandleader and more than 15 years of experience on jazz club and festival stages, has never gone more than two days without listening to the American maestro.
