It is in the heart of the Canadian landscapes that pianist and composer Lara Humbert finds the inspiration to create I’m Not Done Cooking. Driven by eight musicians with strong individual identities and a deep sense of collective listening, the group explores a cinematic sound world where jazz, classical music, rock, pop, and free improvisation intersect. A bold, narrative music, inspired in part by Tim Berne, Mary Halvorson, Bill Frisell, and Debussy.
