Marine Horbaczewski, Michel Massot and Tuur Florizoone know each other only too well. Each a master on their instrument and a champion of imagination, but together - and for almost 20 years - they are simply one.
Because nothing is what it seems in this trio. The suppleness with which they turn like a perfectly oiled cycling team, the melodic elegance of the compositions and the meticulous precision with which everything is in place ... it surprises and inspires.
They move from Nino Rota-like melancholy to jaunty pieces, lightly waltzing and flirting with jazz, tango or contemporary classical. In their minds, elephants and mice, happy princes, yearning princesses and overworked civil servants walk the catwalk. In this concert, they draw mainly from their fourth CD, Lignes de fuite.
