Roots in the Congo, raised in the Netherlands and settled in Brussels : singer-songwriter Amunaso captivates listeners with her dreamy, soulful sound and intimate lyrics. Her music touches on mental health, spirituality and empowerment – topics that she wishes could be discussed more openly.
In 2022 she released her first project "The Moon Listens To My Stories". A cinematic, melancholic ensemble of 13 songs and narrations, with sounds that will remind you of Mereba and Jhené Aiko.
In 2024 she is turning a new page in her creative and musical journey. Always having been influenced by Soul, Hip-hop, R&B and Congolese Rumba, she is now creating a new sound that is as unique and distinctive as her presence. Welcome to Amunaso’s universe.
