Once Claude Nougaro's keyboardist (1993-1994) and Toots Thielemans' pianist (1996-1997), Ivan Paduart is one of the most active Belgian jazzmen of his generation. In 2018, he joined guitarist Patrick Deltenre (Maurane, Axelle Red, Viktor Laszlo) to form a complicit duo. After a first album (Hand in Hand) and more than 70 concerts, they return with Ear we are (Igloo records). In this new opus released in 2020, between the confinements, the two artists alternate the roles for the benefit of a dialogue testifying to a great complicity. Twelve original tracks, some composed together, offering a place of choice to lyricism, melody and harmony and highlighting their qualities as improvisers.
This concert will give pride of place to their third opus entitled "Resilience" and no doubt that lovers of melodic jazz will be delighted by the proposed repertoire.
