Brilliantly led by clarinetist and composer Hélène Duret, Synestet signs a second opus that is a good part of improvisation.
Roles is an imaginary story where the defined rules are very precise and at the same time never respected. After all, therein lies the beauty of a ruler. A story where the characters exchange their roles, merge or oppose their intentions as they see fit, can, on the moment and in the improvisation, a unique and ephemeral alchemy.
The Roles are freely interchanged and the unexpected interferes in the interstices. From there then begins a great discussion between a rock electric guitar with volatile effects, a battery sometimes colorist, sometimes conductor, melodies to sing where saxophone, clarinet and double bass merge into one.
Hélène Duret, Benjamin Sauzereau, Sylvain Debaisieux, Maxime Rouayroux, Fil Caporali, five musicians crazy about improvisation, thirsty for games and musical expression, slip between the lines to form a homogeneous and improvised sound bubble.
Hélène Duret – clarinet, bass clarinet, compositions
Sylvain Debaisieux – tenor saxophone
