These are the 9 bands playing at the preliminary rounds of B-Jazz 2024!
Muziekmozaïek, 30CC Leuven, Rataplan Antwerp and CC Het SPOOR Harelbeke are looking for young Belgian jazz talent ready to break through on international stages. During the three preliminary rounds on Friday March 15 in Leuven, Saturday March 23 in Antwerp and Saturday March 30 in Harelbeke, three young bands will each get the chance to present themselves and their repertoire to the public and the professional jury.
9 bands were selected from the 19 entries. Elsiris, YENTL and TB Project will give their best during the preliminary round at 30CC Leuven. Tomer Cohen Trio, Minla and Anaphora will take the stage at Rataplan Antwerp. Finally, Werend Alleen, Tim Vermeulen Quartet and Juxtaposition will provide a third and final preliminary round at CC Het SPOOR Harelbeke.
After the three preliminary rounds, a jury will select two bands that will advance to the finals of B-Jazz International Contest.
