The pianist Jack Van Poll passed away

Jack Van Poll, self-taught jazz pianist, died on December 4 in Antwerp. Born in 1934 in Roosendaal in the Netherlands, he started playing piano at the age of four. He also played the saxophone. He has accompanied many American jazzmen and has been a strong promoter of jazz in Belgium: club and label manager, composer, teacher and radio host.
