23 October 1991 Hopper opened its doors for the first time, located diagonally opposite the Royal Museum of Fine Arts on the corner of Leopold de Waelstraat in Antwerp South.
"Hopper" refers to the American painter Edward Hopper, whose minimalist conception of art has been a great source of inspiration in the design and decoration of the café.
The basis is a great love of live music: Jazz.
And voila jazz cafe Hopper is born.
