SǒN is not a traditional concert. Nor is it a regular film screening. It is a meeting of image, music and imagination. At Jazz Heks, Micha Volders' award-winning short film comes to life through a live performance by three musicians, each bringing their own distinctive musical universe.
Electronics, saxophones, Japanese percussion, koto and voice merge into a soundtrack that makes every performance unique. In the intimate setting of the church of Heks, every sound is given the space to breathe. Silence, tension and improvisation alternate in an immersive audiovisual experience that draws you in from beginning to end.
