Igor Gehenot, a leading figure in lyrical and romantic piano in Belgium and the creator of numerous critically acclaimed albums, welcomes the young singer Adinda Hertmans this evening. At just 24 years old, the winner of the Toots Thielemans Award is already establishing herself as one of the great hopes of the Belgian scene, before soon setting off for a year in New York.

This is a meeting of minds between a pianist of palpable sensitivity and one of the future great voices of Belgian jazz — a voice of striking clarity, underpinned by solid technique and rare musicality. A delicate, inspired and deeply musical duo.
