Félix Zurstrassen, Aaron Parks & Jeff Ballard

Double bassist Félix Zurstrassen makes his grand return to the PBA with an exceptional concert alongside two major figures in American jazz from the last two decades: pianist Aaron Parks and drummer Jeff Ballard. They first met in May 2024 at the Like A Jazz Machine international festival (Luxembourg), during an exclusive concert by Félix Zurstrassen's NOVA quintet, with Parks and Ballard as guests. Always fascinated by the art of the trio, and in particular by groups led by pianists such as Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea and Brad Mehldau, the Belgian musician is dedicating this concert to this iconic formation by once again inviting Aaron Parks and Jeff Ballard to join him. This is a unique opportunity for the three artists to come together as a trio around a repertoire designed in close collaboration with Aaron Parks and to let the magic of jazz work its wonders.
