As part of Pete Churchill Week at the Baixu.
—WORKSHOP (rather than Masterclass) given by Pete Churchill, professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London and director of the Jazz Singing department at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels.
The workshop will focus on incorporating rhythms — "Your body is your metronome!" —, placing accents and breaths, sculpting sounds and building well-harmonised vocal layers. Awareness of the collective, without losing one's individuality, all in a focused, relaxed and joyful presence.
For choristers, choir directors and musicians wishing to open up to new musical practices.
