January is blues month at La Maison du Jazz, and when you say blues in Belgium, you say Lightnin' Guy Verlinde! The multi-award-winning artist (Best Solo/Duo 2024 and Best Band 2025 Belgian Blues Award) will honour us with a solo set before embarking on a tour to celebrate his 50th birthday, which he will mark with around twenty dates alongside his musician friends. A Guy Verlinde concert is a musical journey steeped in stories of love, failure, hope and resurrection, emphasising the healing power of music. With his stories and songs, his singing, his guitar and harmonica playing, the bluesman touches his audience like no other and performs more than a hundred live shows every year. Blues at the Jacques Pelzer jazz club is a once-a-year event, so be sure to join us!
