Jazz in de Fwajee - Bert Joris, Bram De Looze, Sam Gerstmans, Gert-Jan Dreessen

As usual, we are opening the new Jazz in the Fwajee season with an absolute top line-up. Trumpeter Bert Joris has put together a dream combo especially for this opening concert with pianist Bram De Looze, double bassist Sam Gerstmans and drummer Gert-Jan Dreessen. Four generations, each with their own voice in Belgian jazz and a repertoire that has been exclusively compiled for this concert.

Curator Gert-Jan Dreessen, drummer/composer and one of the great jazz talents of his generation, has invited fellow musicians from Belgium and the Euregio to Sint-Truiden especially for this concert series. The Fwajee will be converted into an intimate jazz club for the occasion and after the concert you can chat with the musicians with a regional beer, wine or a non-alcoholic alternative in hand.
