Maël and Rutger met in April 2022. Yet when they played together for the first time, it seemed as if they'd known each other for years.
Their music takes them on a journey through their favorite landscapes: jazz and beautiful songs.
They never know in advance where they're going or how. These two young friends search for themselves in their music, and in the process find the ultimate freedom.
In this quartet, they are joined on their journey by Toon Rumen on bass and Brazilian/Portuguese/Belgian drummer Gabriel Moraes.
In July 2023, they win the Dinant Jazz Contest. They will open the festival in 2024.
