Knuets / Sécula quartet

This group could be called “nuclear fusion” as together they manage to create a musical “plasma” which releases an energy which passes through you from the inside. The playing of this quartet is both subtle and terribly dense. The virtuosity of the musicians is not there to impress but to participate in a musical symbiosis that gives you emotions. Coming from the Jazz Campus in Basel, these very talented young musicians have found themselves really well. After recording a first album in the name of French pianist Noé Sécula, they are already preparing their second album in the name of Belgian guitarist Eliott Knuets. The high-flying rhythm is provided by Spanish double bassist Joan Codina and American drummer Genius Lee Wesley. A concert not to be missed !
