Like a plant that grows slowly at the confluence of two streams, YIASEMI is born from the meeting between Julien Marga and Jordi Cassagne. The music of this singular duo invites the listener to contemplate their own inner universe. Sometimes soothing, sometimes tumultuous, she revives childhood memories by summoning frescoes of a forgotten time, which seems to stretch indefinitely. There are influences from Jakob Bro and Charlie Haden, as well as sounds borrowed from both folk and chamber jazz.
Their debut album, WHEN DAYS ARE YOUNG, will be released in autumn 2023.
