Coming out of a musical family Anu started singing before speaking according to her mom. In her teens she sang in her hometown choirs, played piano, saxophone and flute. Later she discovered the voice of David Linx and studied with him for five years at the Conservatory of Brussels.

Since 2005 she has been composing for her jazz quintet aNoo with whom she released two albums "The Luckless Lands of the North" (2007) and "Sinipiika" (2011). She works closely with Belgian accordion player Tuur Florizoone. In their acoustic duo they freestyle between jazz, improvisation, folk-techno and tango. Anu also sings in Brussels Vocal Project, a contemporary a cappella group that mainly perform Belgian compositions.

Anu has been performing in various venues in Belgium and abroad. She played with aNoo at several festivals and cultural venues and made a JazzlabTour in 2012. Toured in Germany with a cappella group The Screaming Bitches and in Norway with The Caribous. She played with Derroll's Dream in 2010 at Gentse Feesten, Brosella Folk and Dranouter.

In 2014 she made a radical left turn and started producing electronic music that resulted in the release of her newest album "Skeletons".
