Rolf Langsjoen grew up playing in Chicago, Philadelphia, Paris, and has been part of the New York scene since 1996.

Performance and recording credits include Glen Brown, Johnny Osborne, Ashanti Congo Roy, Ranking Joe, Dr. Israel, Rocker T, The Rocksteady Seven, The Slackers, Skinnerbox, The Stubborn All Stars, The Groove Collective, The Brotherhood Of Breath, The Bouncing Souls, The Bad Brains, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Supertones, Dub Is A Weapon, The Victor Rice Octet, Otis Day and the Knights, Archie Bell and the Drells, and many others.

At present Rolf Plays in NYC with his ensemble, featuring Art Hirahara on piano, Yoshi Wakinori on bass, and Lieven Venken on drums.

He now lives in Brussels but keeps busy playing all over Europe and in the US.
