But it is during the beginning of 2003 that she came to public attention as a jazz and pop singer at the early age or 14, when she appeared on "Man bijt hond" (Man bites dog), a very popular show on the Belgian Flemish tv. Her performance, in a very young vocal trio named Junior Jazz was appreciated by the audience, they even asked for more. She also was noticed by the record company Virgin Belgium, which signed her right away.
On the show, she presented with confidence and an obvious musical talent a few standards such as "Hollywood", "Lullaby of Birdland", "Nature Boy", "How High the Moon", "Devil May Care".
In "How high the moon" she even scatted convincingly Charlie PARKER's "Anthrology", written on the same harmonies.

The recording of her first album for Virgin Belgium took place in the Summer 2003 and was supervised by guitarist/producer Fritz SUNDERMAN, an experienced pro who produced popular Flemish artists such as Laïs, Elisa Waut, Dirk Blanchart).
She was surrounded by musicians such as Bert GIELEN (kb/org.), Sascha TOOROP (drs) and the CD contains a selection of soft rock songs, jazz standards and bossa-novas. An eclectic selection which will not come as a surprise, from someone who listens to various styles of music. Besides jazz, she likes dance music or pop and rock singers such as Alanis Morisette, Björk or Skunk Anansie.

Expect her first album to be out around Nov. 2003 on Virgin Belgium, probably under the artist name "Junior Jazz".
