Call for applications: Jazz Wilrijk 2026

‘Jong Versterkt’, at the Vizit youth centre in Wilrijk, provides a platform for young artists from Antwerp who perform either solo or as part of a band. The aim is to give young people in the region the opportunity to develop musically and gain stage experience.

Every two months, a ‘Jong Versterkt’ concert is organised, featuring four bands each time. Once again this year, a special collaboration with the Schouwburg de Kern as part of the ‘Jazz Wilrijk’ festival has been arranged for Saturday 3 October 2026. A jazz artist or band wishing to support LENSKI will be selected.
