Call for applications: Les Lundis d’Hortense

Are you a musician and would you like to submit your project for one of their events?

Les Lundis d’Hortense organises a series of events comprising over 100 concerts per season. Almost the entire programme — with the exception of certain special events — is put together through calls for proposals, which are assessed blind by the members of the non-profit organisation’s Board of Directors. The vast majority of members are professional musicians; the rest are enthusiasts of the genre.

Conditions:

  • Open only to jazz bands whose members are predominantly resident in Belgium. The Jazz Tour is organised with funding from Art & Vie, which is available only to groups from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
  • Appropriate promotional material must be available, and the proposed group’s page as well as the leader’s page must be up to date on jazzzinbelgium.be
  • A maximum of two projects per leader/co-leader per call for proposals, across all activities.
  • Audio material submitted must be less than 5 years old and feature the line-up of the proposed group. Please ensure the sound quality of the samples
