Take the stage at Luisterplein during the Gentse Feesten

🎉 Heading to the Gentse Feesten! From Monday 21 to Saturday 26 July, Muziekmozaïek and Uitbureau are once again joining forces to give rising jazz and folk talent a stage on the Luisterplein — the place where new talent gets discovered!
12 artists or bands will have the chance to perform for an enthusiastic audience. And later in the year, they’ll be invited to an exclusive coaching day to grow even further.

What do you and your band get?
✔️ A unique 45-minute afternoon concert (between 3PM and 6PM) on a large stage with professional sound and support.
✔️ Inclusion in the Luisterplein booklet and the official Gentse Feesten programme.
✔️ A fee for your performance.
✔️ An inspiring band coaching day in the autumn, featuring workshops and exchanges with fellow musicians.

The selection will be made by the Muziekmozaïek team, taking into account the specific atmosphere of the Luisterplein stage, past stage opportunities, and the availability of the artist or band.
We aim to support emerging or lesser-known artists, so this open call is not intended for professional musicians.
Our goal is to create a vibrant and diverse lineup that reflects today’s evolving jazz and folk scene.
