Jazz Workshop in Gaume : additional information

The Gaume Jazz association is offering a jazz course aimed at amateur musicians (from the age of 12, with no age limit), particularly those attending music academies and conservatoires, music workshops and other places where music is learned and practised.

Whether it's your first introduction to jazz or you're looking to perfect your jazz skills, this course is available as a boarding or day course at the ISF in Virton. There's also plenty of time for group work, ensemble lessons and combos... 

The course runs from Sunday 4 to Sunday 11 August 2024. The final pieces will be performed at the Gaume Jazz Festival in Rossignol on Saturday 10 August 2024.

The teachers are :

• Margaux Vranken - piano, keyboard
• Quentin Liégeois - guitar
• François Vaiana - vocals
• Hughes Maréchal - vocals, piano
• Fil Caporali - bass, double bass
• Joachim Iannello - violin and other strings 
• Michel Mainil and Thomas Champagne - saxophone, flute and clarinet
• Pierre Malempré - trumpet, trombone and other brass instruments
• Bilou Doneux - drums, percussion

The course is offered either as an boarding or as a day course.
