The non-profit association HOMERECORDS.BE was founded in 1998. It created the Happy Family label, which later became homerecords.be, whose main activity is production. This label produces contemporary, innovative music, based on a multitude of influences and styles, whose particularity is the production of an essentially acoustic music which tries to reflect an intimate and sincere universe. Between May 2004, the year of the release of the first album, and today, more than 220 albums have been published, produced and/or recorded. With a few exceptions, the label records in its own studios and designs its own artwork. With its status as an enzyme in the musical landscape, the label is now diversifying its activity into the creation of fairtrade services through which the artists are the full owners of their rights and recuperate almost 100% of the revenues.
