Video Evening: Nathalie LORIERS, in person
Following Bart de Nolf last year, Nathalie Loriers will be at the Maison du Jazz to discuss the video retrospective of her career.
A native of Andenne, Nathalie began a particularly prolific career at a very young age: performing and recording as a soloist, in duos, and in trios, in collaboration with Lee Konitz, Toots Thielemans, Steve Houben, David Linx, and saxophonist Tineke Postma, she was hired in 2002 as the resident pianist of the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. We’ll trace her journey from her first filmed appearances in the early 1990s.
