A musical journey to the heart of Argentine rhythms, driven by an original repertoire blending tango, milonga, improvisation, and contemporary composition. The duo formed by Argentine pianist and composer Gerardo di Giusto and his son, guitarist Mathias di Giusto, offers music that is sensitive, virtuosic, and deeply rooted in their heritage.Pianist and composer born in Córdoba, Gerardo di Giusto moved to Paris to further his studies in musical composition, jazz, and orchestral conducting. He has collaborated with major artists such as Mercedes Sosa, Magic Malik, and the Paris Jazz Big Band. His music seamlessly merges Argentine tradition, contemporary writing, and improvisation.Mathias di Giusto began his musical journey at the age of five before choosing the guitar, later earning a DEM (Musical Studies Diploma) in both classical and jazz. Winner of several talent springboards and an active performer on the Parisian music scene, he also plays with mainstream variety artists. Without denying his Argentine roots, he has developed a sensitive playing style fueled by jazz. In this duo with his father, his acoustic guitar dialogues with the piano in a fluid, warm music tinged with tango and milonga.
