Espace Impair (F) + Ivan Paduart (B)

Espace Impair is a Lille-based trio whose original compositions blend jazz and classical music with touches of pop and traditional music.

The trio also features a rather unusual line-up: piano, flute and cello come together to take us on a distinctive, dreamlike musical journey, occasionally evoking the worlds of Henri Texier or Jan Garbarek.

This excellent trio already has an impressive track record: winner of the Jazz en Nord Competition in 2022, winner of the Audience Award at the Avignon Competition, and finalist at the Jazz à Vienne Competition.

Quite a list of achievements!

Our patron Ivan Paduart – who hardly needs an introduction! – wanted to celebrate his 60th birthday at the club. So he’ll be joining us for this Fête de la Musique.

He will first perform solo, before joining our friends from Espace Impair for a jam session.

A very special musical moment to look forward to. Long live Franco-Belgian friendship
