For this carte blanche to Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, the bass player honors his long-lived journey as one of the members of L’Âme des Poètes trio. For over thirty-three years, this unique band has been unlocking the treasures of French chanson by reinventing them through jazz. The trio invites two special guests for a spell-binding reinterpretation of France's emblematic musical figure: Édith Piaf. Inspired by Piaf's musical and poetical universe, this new project that “waltzes” dizzily through her repertoire will give birth to a ninth album by the band: Les Trois Cloches, from the iconic song by la môme.
