The legendary band Embryo has been around since 1969; it continues to evolve, spanning generations and crossing borders. An international collective, drawing on influences from all over the world, it is a true gem of musical creativity. Since 2015, Marja, the daughter of the late Christian Burchard, has been at the helm of the band. She brings a new energy whilst retaining the same spirit. Jazz, rock, psychedelic melodies from around the world, rhythms and improvisations blend into a unique sound. It is music in its purest form.
