A playground for contemporary jazz at Gent Jazz on 16 July
On 16 July, Gent Jazz has plenty in store for you: the iconic jazz fusion collective Snarky Puppy takes you on an adventurous journey through funk, r&b, soul, jazz and rock. Electronic duo DARKSIDE (= Nicolas Jaar + Dave Harrington) performs a mix of classics and new music from their third album 'Nothing'. Moses Yoofee Trio brings their phenomenal blend of jazz, hip-hop, r&b and soul. You'll also get to hear Mattias De Craene (Nordmann, MDC III), who joins forces with the Brussels-based gnawa ensemble Black Koyo to present their joint album live. And discover even more Belgian pride with FuzzyBears, the electronic alter ego of De Beren Gieren, Stavroz who are conquering the world's biggest stages with their hypnotic live shows, and KVR (Niels Broos, Dries Laheye and Lander Gyselinck)!
