FOKꓘOP. UNPLUGGD is a Brussels’ contribution to the jazzrap & spoken word legacy and a homage to its pioneers. After releasing a first album with electronic punk-rap live band FOꓘKOP.EЯA, vocalist Herb Cells and pianist Martin Daniel now unveil the acoustic alter ego, somewhere between jazz and baroque lyricism, alongside the excellent Manolo Cabras on double bass and Ben Tequi on drums. They call it 'FOKꓘOP. UNPLUGGD’. They will release their very first album called “The Imposter Acoustic” this summer on Igloo records (with Nic Thys on upright bass). The 12” vinyl will already and exclusively be available on May 23 at Lotto Brussels Jazz Weekend (Pl. de la Bourse)!
