Produced by Lee Townsend (Bill Frisell), this new album, ORANGE SEASON, is dedicated to this unassuming guitar whose nylon strings trace infinite spaces. Painting landscapes remains an addiction for the guitarist. His journey exploring the instrument reflects his unwavering taste for adventure. The artist cultivates this taste for risk to reinvent his own musical universe, and also to escape the burden of being pigeonholed.
ORANGE SEASON speaks to us of this “fifth season”: the one nature adorns itself with between winter and spring; the one of the pesticide-laced fields around his village, turned orange by human intervention to create the illusion of greater survival.
