Natasha Vew - “Hibernation”

Surrounded by exceptional musicians, pianist, singer and composer Natasha Van Eerdewegh presents a modern neo-hardbop jazz style, centred on interaction and underpinned by subtle composition through which her European classical influences are also evident. The quintet, with its mainly instrumental repertoire punctuated by a few vocal pieces, explores an expressive and lyrical world where rich harmonies, inventive rhythms and powerful melodies come together.

Its strength lies in creating modern music, rooted in tradition yet resolutely inventive, which speaks immediately to the audience whilst offering complex textures and ideas.

This concert celebrates the release of the live album Hibernation and promises a joyful and intense musical experience!
