The trio Orion brings together Pauline Leblond, trumpet, Boris Schmidt, double bass and Alexandre Tripodi, violin in a refined acoustic setting. Through original compositions and carefully selected arrangements, the trio explores a space where improvisation and written material coexist. Without a harmonic instrument, the music breathes differently: lines intertwine, roles shift, and transparency becomes a defining feature of the sound. Balancing lyricism, deep listening and rhythmic freedom, Orion offers an intimate and nuanced form of chamber jazz, where interaction lies at the heart of the project.
