Muziekmozaïek and the Centre for Young Art (CJK) are joining forces to shine a spotlight on folk and jazz talent, both emerging and established. Under the banner Talent (Re)cognized, up-and-coming musicians are given a stage in the beautiful Claeys-Bouüaert Castle in Mariakerke. On Sunday, November 16, the Rune De Groote Trio will take you on a musical journey.
Rune De Groote, drummer and initiator of the project, leads this modern jazz ensemble with a strong focus on expressive compositions and spontaneous interaction. Together with pianist Lars Van De Voorde and double bassist Wolf De Backer, they bring a fresh, accessible jazz sound that truly resonates.
