A world of avant-garde folk pop

Singer-songwriter Elis creates a world of avant-garde folk pop in which she invites you to immerse yourself: stories to lose yourself in and songs to dance to… We think of Kate Bush, Kadhja Bonet, Paul Simon, and Natalia Lafourcade.

The artist

Elis Floreen is a contemporary music artist, singer-songwriter, and producer. Her songs are the result of a colorful, complex, and unpredictable narrative. Her childhood was always steeped in music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, which Elis spontaneously picked up and now incorporates into her compositions. On stage, she creates a world of avant-garde folk pop in which to immerse yourself, stories to lose yourself in, and songs to sway or dance to.

My Biography

I'm Elis Floreen, your hairdresser's worst nightmare, and I hate recording vocals in jeans. Before I'm 30, I want a dog and a washing machine, I change my hairstyle about every three months, I sometimes have dreams where Cate Blanchett kidnaps me and we fall in love, I'm a part-time resident of Copenhagen, I used to dress up as Jack Sparrow, and... I make songs about anything and everything!
