A leading group on the new Breton scene, this dance-friendly band delivers music with hybrid influences and a sonic exploration of brassy atmospheres for an elegant frenzy leading to explosive trance.
The Project
'Ndiaz is one of the leading bands on the new Breton scene; dance music, a hybridization of influences, and a sonic exploration of brassy music with elegant frenzy and explosive trance. The band's music, enriched by dozens of concerts given across Europe and the Americas (Quebec, USA, Brazil), is dedicated to celebration and physical exultation.
Their new album, "La Brune," invites us into that very special moment of the day, bathed in colors revealed only by the arrival of evening: the electric reds of twilight and the petrol blues of summer nights. That very special moment when celebration takes on a different tone, when the fears of the day give way to the exuberance of dance. That moment when we chase away our fears in the cries of the concert, grace respite between two lights.
A music like a passing night that embodies the experiences of days gone by and is in perpetual search for new tomorrows.
The percussion has given way to drums, the brass has been enriched with multiple effects, and the accordion has been granted the services of the Electravox with its formidable bass. With "La Brune," The power quartet is evolving towards more electric music, with a personal maturity.
'Ndiaz continues to reinvent himself to forge a path of grounded, demanding, and danceable music.
