Iris, Martijn and Yves performed regularly some 20 years ago in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany and also played a few times in Jazzzolder back then. In the fall of 2025, they will do a small reunion tour, this time with Victor Da Costa joining them on guitar and will be happy to come play at Jazz at Home.
Iris Romen is a Dutch singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist who has lived in Berlin for 20 years. She has released two self-written albums on which she sings and also plays double bass, electric bass, Fender Rhodes and guitar.
Iris loves different styles - from swing and blues through Latin-American music to pop and country - she dances through everything with her voice with equal pleasure.
'Old school' influences, lots of feeling and a spoonful of humor will certainly be on the menu when she starts playing together again with her 'old' friends Yves and Martijn after many years.
