Marcel Loeffler was born in Haguenau into the Gypsy community, into a family of musicians. In eastern France, the Loefflers, like the Reinhardts and Schmitts, are among the great families that have regularly produced highly talented musicians. The celebrities of Gypsy music are most often guitarists (Django Reinhardt is the one who started it all), quite frequently violinists, but rarely accordionists.
Marcel Loeffler will be accompanied by Cédric Loeffler (rhythm guitar), Renaud Dardenne (guitar), Alexandre Tripodi (violin), and Cédric Raymond (double bass).
