One of Finland's most renowned post-bop saxophonists shines with a rhythm section featuring one of Finland and Belgium's finest musicians. These experienced musicians will give you an exciting evening of swing, virtuosity and interaction. The band will play Dunkel's exciting, melodic compositions as well as selected jazz standards.
Manuel Dunkel (born 1971 in Finland) has released 7 albums as a leader. He is a long-standing member of the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra. Manuel Dunkel has performed in over 30 countries and worked with internationally renowned musicians such as Peter Bernstein, Rick Margitza and Kenny Wheeler. In 2011, he was awarded the prestigious Yrjö Prize by the Finnish Jazz Federation.
