Mingo Rajandi (double bass)

Estonian Mingo Rajandi boldly explores the intersections between sophisticated composition and improvisation, crossing genre boundaries and experimenting with different art forms. Her work blends jazz with contemporary music and draws inspiration from socially critical texts and poetry, both classical and contemporary.

Berlinde Deman (tuba and serpent)

Berlinde Deman is the regular tuba player in Flat Earth Society Orchestra. After years of fascination with the forerunner of the tuba, she acquires the serpent: a rare 16th century wooden wind instrument in the shape of a snake. After the performance, you can join a guided tour of M Leuven’s collection presentations. A guide will introduce you to the architecture of the building and the history of M. You will discover M’s collection as well as some of the temporary exhibitions of old or contemporary art.
