Major Tune is the brainchild of two friends, David Tunno and Giuseppe Majorino. Although they've been playing together for many years in funk, gospel and pop registers, it's in jazz that they find their roots. For this project, beautiful harmonies, grooves and melodies await you, a fine blend between their gospel-funk origins and their love of jazz. In their compositions, you'll discover influences such as Robert Glasper, Joshua Redman, Pat Metheny,... Surrounded by two experienced musicians, Sal La Rocca on double bass, and Hervé Letor on saxophone. The group mainly plays its own compositions. A music that will not leave you indifferent and will take you on a journey for a moment.
