Motian Love is a tribute to the magnificent music of the great drummer and composer Paul Motian. This brand new band takes the listener into the sound and repertoire of the legendary trio with Joe Lovano and Bill Frisell. Drummer and leader Nico Chkifi has carefully selected some of his favourite Motian compositions to bring them to life in the company of old and new friends. Their debut album, Dance, is out this autumn on Australian label Ramble Records.
