Jazz was born of cross-fertilization and sharing. Guitarist Henri Greindl and pianist Charles Loos have crossed paths on many occasions and have often shared. Here they are together again, surrounded by two other talented musicians with whom they share the same visions: Jan De Haas on drums and Daniel Stokart on saxes.

Jatoba quartet blends bossa, jazz, balladry and tango with the guitarist's and pianist's personal compositions. At once lyrical and poetic, light and exhilarating, the music is at times evocative, at others rousing.

Let yourself be lulled by the tender melodies, distilled by Charles Loos' volatile piano and magnified by Daniel Stokart's flute, soprano or alto. You'll see changing skies, verdant landscapes and colorful birds. But perhaps you'll also feel like snapping your fingers and stomping your feet or, why not, daring to sway to the rhythms subtly ignited by Jan De Haas or the suave sound of Henri Greindl's agile bass? Don't hesitate, this refined and elegant cocktail is to be enjoyed without moderation.
